The Dogg Pound released one of the best albums in 2010 titled 100 Wayz. The first single & one of my favorite tracks Dogg Pound Gangstaz brought back the sound they were known for in the early to mid 90’s. The main groove of this track is a fuzzed out guitar loop, but this whole time i thought it was a customized keyboard patch birthed in there studio. Turns out its sampled from the Ronnie Laws song Fever. Once i put the 2 together It really blew my mind how sumthin so simple can be turned into sumthin great. I came across this Ronnie Laws sample a couple times during my years of record diggin & never thought it could turn into sumthin like this.
